The Black Mountain Under 12s travelled to Ratchaburi to compete in the Huay Phai Cup last weekend. The team reached the quarter finals and lost 5-3 to eventual winners, Ratchaburi FC, in a thrilling game.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the final match in the group stages. Needing a win to progress to the quarter finals the players were unfortunate to find themselves 2-0 down at half time.
The coaches were not concerned because the boys had been playing good football and their faith was rewarded with a thrilling second half comeback, with three different players finding the back of the net to secure a 3-2 win and a spot in the quarter finals.
