BMHHFA Under 10s grab late equalizer against Hua Hin City

The Under 10s were well beaten on the two previous occasions they played Hua Hin City but put in a much improved performance this time around to claim a well deserved draw.

It was a very open game with BMHHFA taking an early lead when Alex scored from close range. Hua Hin City always looked a threat coming forwards and surged into a 4-1 lead as the visitors wasted a number of openings.

Alex and Nick were linking up very well while debutant Ford showed some nice touches. It was a promising performance and Nick grabbed two goals late in the half to leave the game wide open.

The second half was much closer. Gai was dangerous on the wind while Nee was denied a great chance to level the scores when Ford got in her way as she was about to shoot with the goal at her mercy.

Goalkeeper Gan creates numerous openings with his intelligent distribution while Casper was solid at the back. With about a minute of normal time remaining Alex grabbed a dramatic equalizer when the ball fell kindly for him and he blasted it home from long range.

This was a very encouraging performance with some clever link up play and passing moves. The team has improved dramatically since we first played on this pitch six months ago.

Hopefully we will see more positive signs in our home match on Sunday when several players will have returned from their half term holidays.
