The rain had stopped by the time training started today and it was even busier than yesterday with several new members signing up.
Our Under 6 group played a practise match at the end of the session for the first time. It was great for the children to be able to put some of the skills they have been working on every week into use and score some goals.
At the end of the session one of the coaches went into goal to see if anyone in the Under 10 group could beat him from the penalty spot. It took a few attempts but eventually one of the children found the bottom corner with a sweetly struck spot kick.
