James Goyder, who founded the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy in 2018, is moving on. He will be returning to England in July along with his wife and two children.
James initially set up the academy because he wanted his son, who was 5 at the time, to have somewhere to train. In six years it has gone from strength to strength with over 500 children having benefitted from the training on offer.
During this time James also organized over 40 tournament’s for children in Hua Hin at the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy and elsewhere. He coached every age group from 4 years old up to 14 years old, served as the general manager and played nearly 100 games for the adult’s team.
Taking over from James will be former Tottenham and England defender Gary Stevens. He is a UEFA Pro Licensed Coach with decade’s of coaching experience who has managed at the top level in Thailand, so the academy is clearly in safe hands.
Thanks for everything James, and good luck for the future!
