This morning a group of coaches and parents made the trip to Pala U Noi with local charity Jungle Aid. We put on a free coaching session for the children there, who don’t have access to basic amenities like electricity or running water but love playing football.
Pala U Noi is home to a stateless, landless community of Karen refugees. There’s a small mud football pitch carved out of the jungle and the children’s enthusiasm for the sport is infectious. They will happily play barefoot for hours and always enjoy the coaching sessions.
A big thank you to Black Mountain and the Hua Hin International School for supporting this fantastic initiative.
