Bobby, Simon and Julian to the double against HHIS

BMHHFA Under 14s ran out as comfortable winners over HHIS yesterday. Bobby, Simon and Julian (below) all grabbed first half braces before being substituted at half time along with the other three outfield players.

Last time the HHIS Under 15s gave us a good match, it ended in a 4-4 draw. But this time BMHHFA were in control from start to finish with debutants Bobby and Simon particularly influential in the first half, the former playing with a maturity well beyond his 11 years.

At times BMHHFA showed a tendency to over elaborate but when the midfielders passed the ball quickly the movement and link up play was excellent. The other first half goalscorer was Shell, the right winger now has five goals in three games.

Only goalkeeper Wave remained for the second half with three players coming on to make their debuts. Gluay instantly settled into the midfield playmaker role and Alyssa (below) found acres of space on the right flank, causing constant problems for the HHIS defence.

Striker Bam produced some intelligent, unselfish link up play and scored with an instinctive first time finish while Sprite and Gluay also got their names on the scoresheet. When Wave was called into action he produced an instinctive close range save to deny the HHIS striker.

On Sunday the Under 14 team will be in action again when Hua Hin Junior visit the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy. The team is going from strength to strength as the upcoming Hin Lek Fai league approaches and we also have enough players to enter an Under 13 team into local competitions if the opportunity arises.
